Job Profile – Paediatric Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
Qualification MASLP or BASLP Fresher or with experience
Description
Create a comprehensive client-centered plan of care using standardized and non-standardized evaluation methods
Use evidence from research and relevant resources to make informed intervention decisions
Work with clients 1:1 using client-centered, speech and language based treatment approaches that motivate and challenge the client to achieve established goals that support targeted outcomes
Collects data on a regular basis and makes decisions based on empirical data.
Works with the team in a cohesive manner prioritizing student’s development above everything else.
Modify activities or treatment methods as needed based on client needs to maximize success and engagement
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, caregivers, families, colleagues, other providers (ABA, OT, etc.) to ensure a cohesive, and wholistic approach to therapy
Collaborate with parents to maximize carryover by developing and helping them to maintain an effective, achievable home program
Complete evaluations and daily notes on time after each session
Conduct a minimum of six, 45 minute sessions in a given day.
Report to work at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Cover for missed sessions on weekends if required.
Conduct/ be part of parent meetings to update about ST goals.
Lead and conduct ST trainings for the staff in the center.
Train specific teams as per the child’s programs for the quarter/year.
